LONDON -- A bag rescued from the wreckage of the Titanic paints a picture of a frenzied looter at work in the last terrifying moments of the sinking liner. The bag could have belonged to "a thief or a looter or someone who grabbed what he or she could find in those presumably frightening, chaotic moments before the ship sank," said Stephen Deuchar of the National Maritime Museum. "It contained quite a wide range of material, mostly valuables by which I include cash." The bag was recovered in 1987.
