VALLADOLID, Spain () -- Real Madrid regained the lead of the Spanish first division when they overran Real Valladolid 5-0 away.
Two goals from Chilean Ivan Zamorano and one each from Luis Enrique, Raul Gonzalez and Alfonso Perez put Madrid back in front of Real Zaragoza on goal difference, both sides having 23 points from 15 games.
Zamorano's second goal Thursday was Real's 4,000th in the Spanish league championship, by far a record.
