BONN -- German sports car manufacturer Porsche is planning a return to Formula One racing next year after an absence of four years, the German magazine Auto Motor und Sport said.
The magazine said in an advance copy of its latest issue that Porsche had developed a new V10 engine which could be ready by next season. Nobody at Porsche was available to comment on the report.
The Porsche team pulled out of Formula One racing in 1991 after four unsuccessful years.
