Polish Sell-Off Boosted

WARSAW -- Poland's mass privatization program will take a big step forward on Thursday when a special commission announces lists of potential board members in funds to control 460 privatized firms. Andrzej Halicki, a spokesman for the program, said Monday the commission is expected to present a list of 35 candidates to chair about 19 National Investment Funds, or NFIs, that will group more than 20 enterprises each.
