Poles Prepare for Cuts

WARSAW, Poland () -- Poland is preparing a plan to ensure steady imports of natural gas and oil in case these are threatened by instability in Russia, its main supplier, the government press office said.


"We are drawing up simulations of threatening situations (in Russia) ...The contingency plan should be ready by the end of January," said Mariusz Kosieradzki, director of the government press office.


He said the defense committee would discuss the issue later this month.
