"There are at least 50 dead and the number is growing," an official of the Federal Civil Aviation Authority said. About 120 people were on board, he added.
"What we know is that visibility was very poor and the plane overshot the runway," a senior aviation ministry official told Reuters. Sabotage was not suspected at this stage, he said.
