Monthly Wage Rises

MOSCOW () -- The Russian monthly average wage was 565,000 rubles ($125.60) in September, up 8 percent from August levels and 123 percent above September 1994, the State Statistics Committee said Tuesday.


But it said the real wage in September, taking into account price rises, was 29 percent below the same month in 1994. The real wage rose 4 percent in September from its August value.
