Some of the many varieties of honey you may find at Tsaritsyno:

Kamenny honey is a wild variety that bees produce in mountain hives. It is very rare and has the taste of wildflowers. The honeycomb has very little wax.

Koriandrovy honey is made from coriander. It has a very strong aroma and a distinct caramel taste.

Lipovy honey is a light amber variety that comes from the linden tree. It has a strong aroma and a widely appealing taste. It is highly recommended for sore throats.

Lopukhny honey comes from the burdock plant. It has a dark olive tint, a strong, distinct smell, and is very viscous.

Ryabinovy honey comes from the mountain ash tree. It is a reddish color and has a very strong aroma, a delicious, sweet taste and plenty of vitamin C.

Vasilkovy honey, one of Russia's many dark honeys, is made from cornflowers. This honey is greenish-yellow and has a sweet, delicate aroma that is reminiscent of almond. It has a slightly bitter taste.

Yablonevy honey is made from the flowers of apple trees. It has a very light color and a delicate aroma.

Yezhevichny honey is blackberry honey. It is a clear honey with a very delicate flavor and aroma. It is especially good for those suffering from a respiratory illness.

A Message from The Moscow Times:

Dear readers,

We are facing unprecedented challenges. Russia's Prosecutor General's Office has designated The Moscow Times as an "undesirable" organization, criminalizing our work and putting our staff at risk of prosecution. This follows our earlier unjust labeling as a "foreign agent."

These actions are direct attempts to silence independent journalism in Russia. The authorities claim our work "discredits the decisions of the Russian leadership." We see things differently: we strive to provide accurate, unbiased reporting on Russia.

We, the journalists of The Moscow Times, refuse to be silenced. But to continue our work, we need your help.

Your support, no matter how small, makes a world of difference. If you can, please support us monthly starting from just $2. It's quick to set up, and every contribution makes a significant impact.

By supporting The Moscow Times, you're defending open, independent journalism in the face of repression. Thank you for standing with us.
