Kim Funeral Delayed

SEOUL () -- The funeral for North Korea's late president, Kim Il-sung, scheduled for last weekend, has been delayed until Tuesday in order to allow more people to pay respects to Kim's body, North Korean officials said.

Meanwhile, South Korea has intensified efforts to prevent its citizens from expressing condolences for the dead Communist leader. Student groups trying to honor Kim have clashed with authorities who have forbidden anyone to travel North for the funeral. There has also been bickering in Parliament over proposals to send condolences.
