IMF Eyes Ukraine

KIEV () -- A mission from the International Monetary Fund has arrived in Ukraine to discuss the fourth $350 million installment of a standby loan, officials said Wednesday.

The delegation will also begin looking at possible loan programs for next year during the three-week visit.

Ukraine won a $1.8 billion IMF loan package this year on the strength of a reform program which envisaged slowing monthly inflation to under 2 percent by the end of the year.
