MARJAYOUN -- Pro-Iranian Hizbollah guerrillas ambushed a convoy of Israeli-backed militiamen in south Lebanon on Tuesday, killing three militiamen and wounding two, security sources said.
They said guerrillas fired at the convoy as it drove near the Zemraya crossing point into Israel's occupation zone in the south.
Hizbollah, or Party of God, said in a statement in Beirut that its guerrillas attacked a convoy of two cars and a jeep in Zemraya, killing and wounding all of its members.
Israeli forces retaliated by shelling a Hizbollah area in the Bekaa Valley.
Meanwhile, Israel and Jordan initialed an agreement to export $30 million worth of goods to Palestinians in the occupied West Bank..
