Two determined Russian women are on a long-distance mission to recover $5,500 worth of electronic goods they say they bought in the Gulf only to find later their packages contained cement.
The tourists put the goods in store at their Dubai hotel and did not discover the theft until they returned home, al-Khaleej newspaper said Monday.
Now they are back in the UAE with the cement boxes as evidence of the theft. Police are investigating.
