LONDON -- Yorkshire spinner Richard Stemp is to appear before a disciplinary panel next Tuesday charged with misconduct. Stemp, 12th man for the first and second cricket tests against New Zealand, is accused of verbally abusing Somerset batsman Mark Lathwell last week following a disputed catch. Stemp could be reprimanded, cautioned, fined or banned for up to four days which could hit his chances of playing in the third and final test starting on June 30
