ST. PETERSBURG () -- Police are searching for a suspect in the murder of the owner of one of St. Petersburg's most popular night clubs, who was gunned down outside his home.
Lucky Lyinbor, a Nigerian entrepreneur who opened Domenico's Restaurant last summer along Nevsky Prospekt, was attacked as he returned to his apartment at 2 a.m. Wednesday morning. According to the police, he was hit over the head as he left the elevator and then shot twice in the neck.
Colleagues said they were shocked and surprised by the murder. "No one has called and asked for money," director of operations Alison Bostick said Monday. "We have no reason to think that we are in trouble."
Police said there were currently no suspects, and said the type of gun used was also unknown.
