Boy Pushed to Death

CHICAGO () -- Two boys aged 10 and 11 pushed a 4-year-old to his death from a 14-story window after he refused to steal candy for them, police said Friday.

The victim, Eric Morris, was pronounced dead of massive internal injuries shortly after the incident Thursday night.

Police and witnesses said Morris's 9-year-old brother saved him once from being pushed out of the window, but the older boys shoved him out a second time and bit the brother on the hand when he again tried to rescue him.

The incident happened in an abandoned apartment in a public-housing building on Chicago's South Side.
