MOSCOW () -- The primary yield on three-month government bonds jumped Wednesday as commercial banks slightly undersubscribed the Finance Ministry's 26th issue of three-month treasury bills.
The ministry sold 1.66 trillion rubles in bills out of the 1.7-trillion ruble issue at an average annualized yield of 304 percent. The yield was considerably higher than the 245 percent average at the last auction earlier this month.
