Barkley was fined $5,000 Tuesday for initiating the incident with Oakley by slapping him after they got tangled up following a play under the basket. Oakley was fined $2,000 for retaliating. Following the skirmish, both players were ejected from the game, which was won by hosts Phoenix 92-78. The ejections carry an additional $250 fine for each player.
