Baby Smugglers Free

BUCHAREST () -- A Bucharest court Wednesday suspended a prison sentence imposed on a British couple convicted of buying and trying to smuggle a baby out of Romania.

The court cut the sentence passed on Adrian and Bernadette Mooney to two years from 28 months and suspended it.

The couple were ordered to leave the country but it was not immediately clear how soon they would be able to go.
