PERTH, Australia () -- Top-order batsman Murray Goodwin capped an auspicious first-class cricket debut Tuesday by frustrating England.
Goodwin, 21, followed his first innings of 91 with 77, an effort which was chiefly responsible for Western Australia forcing a draw against Michael Atherton's side in their four-day match.
Western Australia, set 401 to win on the final day following an overnight declaration by England, had reached 272-5 when the match was called off 30 minutes early.
