Cuban Trade Bill

The Moscow Times
MOSCOW (MT) -- An American bill forbiding all trade with Cuba -- including exports by the foreign subsidiaries of American companies -- has been declared inapplicable to British firms trading with the communist island nation, Reuters has reported.

The British trade minister, Richard Needham, said that the bill, which was passed by the United States Congress on Oct. 1 but not yet signed into law, would be unenforceable on American-owned British companies exporting to Cuba.
