The Winzavod exhibition space has finally seen the opening of a much needed cafe. Located inside the Cara&Co designer boutique, Cara&Coffee features tables created from giant upturned projection lamps and has a genuine juke box. Its location on a balcony that overlooks the store's main floor allows guests to take a break from shopping without having to take their eye off that next bargain.

Menza noodle house has introduced some changes to its menu, giving customers a whole new range of noodle possibilities. Guests can now mix and match their own personal noodle dish by choosing one of five different varieties of noodles and then adding beef and vegetables, tiger prawns, salmon, chicken, calamari or vegetables in soy sauce. Another new addition is handmade Chinese dumplings, which also come in numerous varieties -- salmon, pork, chicken, mushroom or egg and vegetables.

Le Duc, long widely regarded as one of the best restaurants in town, is no more. Restaurateur Andrei Dellos has closed the French restaurant and replaced it with a more flavor-of-the-moment Mediterranean restaurant -- Manon. The interior design is eclectic and the menu concise -- diners can expect the same high quality as before, as well as the same high prices.

A Message from The Moscow Times:
Dear readers,
We are facing unprecedented challenges. Russia's Prosecutor General's Office has designated The Moscow Times as an "undesirable" organization, criminalizing our work and putting our staff at risk of prosecution. This follows our earlier unjust labeling as a "foreign agent."
These actions are direct attempts to silence independent journalism in Russia. The authorities claim our work "discredits the decisions of the Russian leadership." We see things differently: we strive to provide accurate, unbiased reporting on Russia.
We, the journalists of The Moscow Times, refuse to be silenced. But to continue our work, we need your help.
Your support, no matter how small, makes a world of difference. If you can, please support us monthly starting from just $2. It's quick to set up, and every contribution makes a significant impact.
By supporting The Moscow Times, you're defending open, independent journalism in the face of repression. Thank you for standing with us.
Remind me later.
