Russian Dog Given 4 Prosthetic Paws

Meet Monika, a Russian dog who’s received a rare quadruple prosthetic paw implant. Monika was found as a stray in southern Russia in December 2020, with all four of her paws cut off. Activists organized a fundraising campaign to send her to the Siberian city of Novosibirsk, where veterinarian Sergei Gorshkov performed the challenging procedure. The prosthetic paws are made of titanium and were produced with a 3D printer.
