Men Gunned Down at Popular Prostitute Pickup Point Near Moscow

One man was killed and another wounded by automatic-weapon fire at an area frequented by prostitutes and their clientele in a Moscow suburb Tuesday afternoon, Interfax reported.

The men had driven up to the pickup point in a BMW X5 to find some prostitutes when an Infiniti drove up beside their car, according to Interfax. Two men then hopped out and opened fire in front of numerous witnesses.

A LifeNews correspondent claimed in a news report filmed at the scene that the dead man had been a pimp. The report aired footage of the attacked car riddled with bullet holes.

Investigators said in a statement that 19 shells with a caliber of 5.45 millimeters were found at the scene. A criminal case has been launched on murder charges.
