Oil Output Reaches Post-Soviet High

Oil output hit a post-Soviet high in October as a beefed-up Rosneft, soon to be the world's biggest crude supplier, dug deeper into hard-to-reach fields. The increased drilling helped lift oil output 0.5 percent in October to 10.46 million barrels per day, data from the Energy Ministry showed.
