Producer Prices Up 4.1% June

Producer prices advanced 4.1 percent in June compared with a year earlier, more than economists forecast.

Prices of goods leaving factories and mines fell 0.9 percent compared with the previous month, the State Statistics Service said Tuesday in an e-mailed statement.

Economists predicted an annual increase of 3.1 percent and a drop of 2.2 percent on a monthly basis, according to the median estimates in two Bloomberg surveys.
