CHISINAU, Moldova — Moldova's Constitutional Court has annulled a December presidential election that produced no winner, a move that gave the country's hung parliament more time to have another go at electing a state leader.
The ruling late last week meant the presidential election, which takes place in parliament rather than by popular vote, was not held Sunday as scheduled. The parliament will need to set a new date for the vote after it reconvenes in February.
