Driver Sets Court on Fire

A man upset over the loss of his driver's license set himself on fire in a Krasnoyarsk regional courthouse, killing himself and a court official when the blaze engulfed the building, police said.

Police spokeswoman Yelena Shchavelyova said five other people were injured in Friday's incident, which occurred in the town of Irbeiskoye.

The man set himself ablaze just before the court was to hear his appeal on revoking his driver's license. Shchavelyova said the fire spread, killing a judge's assistant.
