A suspected drug addict with a criminal record was detained Wednesday in northwestern Moscow with some 150 grams of hexogen-based explosives that she wanted to sell to fishermen, RIA-Novosti reported.
Some fishermen detonate explosives underwater to stun or kill fish. It remained unclear from where the 30-year-old local resident, whose name was withheld, obtained the factory-made explosives. She was not detained because of her poor health, but may face up to three years in prison over the incident.
