Senior police officials who use foul language in talks with subordinates will be punished by reshuffles that may land them in dog service, Moscow police chief Vladimir Kolokoltsev said Thursday, Interfax reported.
"Maybe it will be easier for them to reach understanding with dogs using strong words," Kolokoltsev said, adding that he finds insulting colleagues "simply unacceptable."
The dog service threat may not be rhetorical, as a new kennel for 500 police dogs is set to be built in Moscow following the order of President Dmitry Medvedev, who told police to make more use of canine power to prevent further terrorist attacks, one of which killed 36 and injured dozens more at Domodedovo Airport last month.
