St. Pete Tower May Move

St. Petersburg’s government may move the location of Gazprom Neft’s planned skyscraper to assuage protesters, Governor Valentina Matviyenko said, Kommersant reported Friday.

Preservationists oppose building what is planned to be Europe’s tallest tower near the city center. Matviyenko said the city might offer another location for the Okhta Center, after meeting opposition groups, Kommersant said.
