Incoming BP CEO Bob Dudley offered to sell projects in Vietnam, Pakistan and Venezuela to Rosneft and TNK-BP, Vedomosti reported Friday, citing a source close to BP.
Dudley and exiting CEO Tony Hayward discussed large deals with Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin, who is also chairman of Rosneft, during meetings in Moscow last week, Vedomosti reported, citing a government source. BP spokesman Vladimir Buyanov declined to comment.
