Turkey Seeking Russian Gas

Turkey is seeking increased gas supplies from Russia after an explosion forced the shutdown of a pipeline from Iran, Gazprom said Wednesday.

Gazprom increased Turkish supplies by 57 percent to 22 million cubic meters, and the country has asked for 32 million cubic meters of fuel tomorrow, the gas export monopoly said in a statement.
