The federation Wednesday canceled the giant slalom and slalom in Italy's Sestriere because of lack of snow. Inspectors said it was too mild to use snow cannons.
It scrapped the downhill and super-G in the French resort of Val d'Isere Dec. 4-5 for the same reason. A federation official, Sonja Reichen, said that it was unclear how the races would be rescheduled.
