Sex Sting Was Set Up

The News of the World paid the Spanish-born ex-lover of Britain's most senior military officer, Sir Peter Harding, ?175,000 ($262,000) to lure him into a "honeytrap," newspapers reported.

The chief of defense staff resigned Sunday after front pages showed photographs of Bienvenida Buck, 32, wife of Sir Anthony Buck, a blonde labelled by the Daily Star as a "temptress who smashed Harding's defenses."
