Ruble Loses 11 Points

MOSCOW -- The ruble lost 11 points against the U.S. dollar in the trading Thursday on the Moscow Interbank Currency exchange, closing at 1,952 per dollar. Net trading volume increased to $10.95 from $1 million a day earlier. Initial supply was $41.30 million, while initial demand came to $47.60 million. The ruble gained 13 points against the Deutsche mark Thursday with one mark buying 1,170 rubles at the close of trading.
