Gretzky Team Rallies for Win

OSLO, Norway -- Wayne Gretzky's Ninety-Nine All-Stars rallied from an early two-goal deficit to beat a team of Norwegian all-stars 6-3 Tuesday. ``It must be every Norwegian players' dream to face Wayne Gretzky,'' said Jim Martinsen of Oslo's Spectrum All-Stars before the third game in the Ninety-Niners six-city Scandinavia tour.

The Norwegians surprised Gretzky's pros by taking a 2-0 lead in the seventh minute of the first period. But six minutes later, Mark Messier of the New York Rangers scored.

The Ninety-Niners scored three times in the second period on goals by Sergei Federov of the Detroit Red Wings, Russ Courtnall of the Dallas Stars and then Gretzky. Todd Gill of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Gretzky's Los Angeles' teammate, Tony Granato scored in the third period.

The Ninety-Niners now head to Sweden for three games.
