JPMorgan Chase hired Gordon McCulloch, the former deputy chief executive of Renaissance Capital, to head its equity business in Russia, South Africa and the Middle East, according to two people familiar with the appointment.
McCulloch joined JPMorgan in London last month as head of its equity business in Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, or CEEMA, said the people, who declined to be identified because the information hasn’t been made public. McCulloch left the investment-banking arm of Renaissance Group seven months ago and previously was at Goldman Sachs Group in Russia.
