Earlier this week, the Russian city of Novosibirsk set a record for snowfall on Oct. 24, producing the first snow drifts of the season — with some as high as 25 centimeters (nearly ten inches). Traffic throughout the city reached “7” on Yandex’s road-congestion scale, meaning there was serious gridlock on the streets of Novosibirsk.
Party time — that’s what one group of local young people with a minivan, a snowboard, and a bear costume decided when they saw the city covered in snow. To ring in the season, one of them put on the outfit and hopped on the snowboard, which he then rode through Novosibirsk’s streets while being towed by his friends.
The spectacle was caught on video, naturally, and the footage is now available on YouTube. In the video, you can hear dance music playing inside the minivan. The song has something to do with “crazy sex.”
