Bikers Have Near Miss With Bear on Road in Northern Russia (Video)

Two bikers on a trip to Ingozero Lake on Russia's northern Kola Peninsula barely escaped crashing into a bear at full speed, a video posted on YouTube has shown.

The bikers were riding their motorcycles down the road at high speed when a black bear ran out of the forest just before them, crossed the road and disappeared into the forest on the other side.

Encountering wild animals on the roads is not rare in Russia, given its vast woodlands.

Earlier this month, police captured a tiger walking down a highway in the Voronezh region of western Russia. The tiger was believed to have escaped from a truck that was transporting it.

… we have a small favor to ask.
