Russia's Ruble Falls Below 56 to U.S. Dollar for First Time This Year

The value of the dollar against the ruble fell below 56 rubles per dollar for the first time this year on Monday, setting a new 2015 high for the ruble of 55.96 per dollar.

At 11:32 GMT the ruble had fallen back to 56.09 against the dollar, still up 0.9 percent on the day.
