Transneft to File Complaint

Transneft plans to file a complaint with the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service against Russian Railways due to problems with oil shipments under the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean project, a representative of Transneft subsidiary Transneft-Logistics said, Interfax reported Thursday.

Russian Railways has restricted oil shipments from the Gruzovaya station adjacent to the Khmylovsky crossing of the Far Eastern Railway.

As a result, the movement of 15 trains loaded with oil has been halted, the representative said. This jeopardizes the schedule for tanker shipments to the Kozmino port and the fulfillment of Russia's export program, Transneft said.
