Park Kultury Metro Station to Reopen April 20

The circle line Park Kultury metro station will reopen on April 20 after being closed for repairs for over a year, a metro spokesperson said Wednesday, RIA-Novosti reported.

The station's reopening has been pushed back multiple times since its closing for renovations on Feb. 5, 2011. It was originally scheduled to be back in operation in late December. Then, the reopening date was set for the first quarter of this year.

New escalators, which are replacing ones whose service life had expired, are currently being installed in the station.
