A father in Khanty-Mansiisk has admitted to murdering his 2-year-old daughter and throwing her body in a drainage ditch to avoid paying alimony, the local branch of the Investigative Committee said on its web site Wednesday.
The unidentified man first reported the girl as missing, but admitted to killing her on police interrogation. He faces up to 20 years in prison on murder charges.
