Communications and Press Minister Igor Shchyogolev has suggested that Prince Alexander Trubetskoy replace him on the board of directors at telecoms holding Svyazinvest.

Shchyogolev made a written proposal to Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov, a source close to the Communications and Press Ministry said.

Trubetskoy was born in Paris in 1947, the son of Russian immigrants Prince Alexander Trubetskoi and Princess Alexandra Golitsyn. He worked for companies supplying computer systems to the Academy of Sciences, TASS, Morflot, RAO UES of Russia and Gazprom from 1975 to 1994.
