$19Bln of 'Violations'

The Audit Chamber uncovered 580 billion rubles ($19 billion) in spending “violations” from the 2010 federal budget, RIA-Novosti reported, citing watchdog chief Sergei Stepashin.

Some of the misspent money involved the Russian delegation to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and state farm bank Rosselkhozbank, the state-run news service cited Stepashin as telling President Dmitry Medvedev on Monday, without providing any more details immediately.
