Gas trader Itera is not selling half its stock to TNK-BP as it buys back a stake held by Sun Group, company president Igor Makarov said Monday.
“We can talk with anyone but we’re not selling anything,” Makarov said, reacting to an Oct. 5 report in Vedomosti that TNK-BP had held talks about buying 50 percent. “We’re ready to form a joint venture, but we’re not ready to sell anything,” he said, declining to name potential partners.
Makarov refused to say how much Itera was paying Sun Group.
