Alcohol Killed Sukhoi Staff

Three technicians of the Sukhoi plane maker who died in Indonesia on Monday were killed by methanol, a highly toxic form of alcohol used in aircraft maintenance, Interfax reported Wednesday, citing forensic data released by local police.

A bottle containing methanol mixed with drinkable alcohol was found in the hotel room occupied by one of the technicians, the report said. He could not say where the bottle came from.
