TMK Expects Better 2011

TMK said Monday that it expected its 2011 result would be above this year’s level as demand grows.

“Our general expectation [is that] 2011 will be an even better year than 2010, and so far, we have all reasons to believe this,” senior vice president for strategy, Vladimir Shmatovich, told analysts during a conference call.

The pipe maker on Friday reported first-half net profit of $67.3 million, beating estimates.
