LUKoil Crash Case Closed

Celebrity lawyer Igor Trunov said Monday that police have closed an investigation into a high-profile road accident involving the car of LUKoil vice president Anatoly Barkov that left two dead, Interfax reported.

The driver of the car that collided with Barkov’s vehicle was ruled guilty in the incident, Trunov said, citing the unidentified investigator working on the case.

The driver, Olga Alexandrina, died in the February crash along with her mother-in-law. Barkov and his driver had minor injuries. Trunov, who represents Alexandrina’s relatives in the case, promised to appeal.
