PRAGUE French Open winner Arantxa Sanchez Vicario beat Wimbledon champion Conchita Martinez in the final of a top tournament in Prague.
Sanchez Vicario took the title Saturday in just over 90 minutes, winning 6-2, 6-7 (5-7) 6-3.
The Prague tournament featured just eight players, including six of the world's top 20. Sanchez Vicario took advantage of two early breaks in the second set to build a commanding 5-2 lead but failed to capitalize on the opportunity and was forced to struggle back.
